Measures your work or vocational preferences

Assesses which work tasks you prefer to perform and will find most satisfying.

Helps to predict job satisfaction

Your results on the assessment help to predict whether you’re likely to enjoy the types of tasks required by the role, and will, therefore, be more satisfied and committed to the role and the organisation.

84 Questions

You will be asked to complete 84 questions, which require you to select which of two types of tasks you would prefer to do.

Un-timed Assessment

The assessment is not timed and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

What is the Revelian Work Preferences Profile (RWPP)?

The Revelian Work Preferences Profile compares a person’s task or vocational preferences with a corresponding measure of the job’s task requirements. We then we calculate the degree of match between your preferences and the position’s requirements.

People with higher levels of match or congruence are more likely to be satisfied with the day-to-day requirements of the job, and therefore more committed to the role and the organisation.

How do I complete the assessment?

You’ll need to be invited by an employer who uses Revelian assessments to complete the test. Once you’ve received your invitation you can log in and read information about the assessment.

The assessment asks you to answer 84 short questions about which of two tasks you would prefer to do, for example, whether you would prefer to read a book or dig in the garden, and takes approximately 10 minutes (un-timed).  We recommend that you follow your initial reaction when answering the questions since this will provide the most accurate response.

How can I prepare for the assessment?

The assessment simply asks you what type of tasks you would prefer to do. Because the assessment is not a pass or fail test, and is not designed to assess any prior learning or skill, there is no need to study beforehand.  We recommend reading the instructions carefully before you start the assessment and ensuring you are in a comfortable, distraction-free environment.
