From the outset, Revelian has been a company founded on innovation. We made the move from paper-based assessments administered by psychologists to remote, unsupervised testing online.
We proved that sophisticated tools to understand and analyse people could be made more convenient and user-friendly without losing their value or rigour. Those principles still apply today but we offer a much broader range of tools. The key to Revelian’s success is being data-driven.

In December 1998 Steven had an idea for a business that would help organisations to reduce the time and cost of recruiting the right people into the right job. He started Onetest and more than ten years on, that idea has evolved into Revelian, Australia’s leading provider and publisher of psychometric testing, employee surveys and communications analytics.
Steven began his career as an Accountant with KPMG before leaving the field of chartered accounting to explore opportunities in recruitment. Steven joined Michael Page in Sydney and it is this experience which helped him shape Onetest’s early solutions.
Steven has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and IT from Griffith University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He is an avid sports fan and regularly participates in golf, snow skiing and beach volleyball.
David joined Revelian in 2000, as a Non Executive Director and major shareholder. He continues to be keenly involved with the innovation and development of new products and Revelian’s success in new markets.
Before joining Revelian, David founded Tradelink Plumbing Supplies and subsequently sold this company to Burns Philp Limited. David is non-executive director of Revelian and Ellume Pty Ltd, a medical diagnostic development company. He is also CEO and Director of several property development companies.
David is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dominic O’Hanlon joined the Revelian Board as a Non Executive Director in 2013. Dominic is one of Australia’s most successful technology entrepreneurs who has served in roles as Chairman, Non Executive Director, CEO and Chief Strategy Officer for numerous high growth technology companies. He is currently CEO of NewLease.
Specialising in strategic planning, capital raising, sales execution and divestment/exit planning, Dominic has helped to aggressively grow and sell multiple I.T. companies, creating billions of dollars in shareholder value. Dominic held the role of Chief Strategy Officer for MYOB (Australia’s largest software company sold to Bain Capital in 2011 for $1.2B) and President & CEO of Haley Limited (sold to Oracle Corporation in 2009 for a record multiple). Dominic has his own Angel Investment fund and serves as a mentor and adviser to many startup and established technology companies in Australia and the United States.
Dominic is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Graduate of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program, and possesses a BA (Econ) Hons I from the University of Sydney.
Beginning his career in the late 1980’s working in sales and marketing, John has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in the corporate development sector, assisting businesses, both nationally and internationally, particularly into the US and Asia markets. His passion is assisting companies to take advantage of strategic partnerships, scaling their revenues, attracting investment and realizing their potential.
Whilst highly skilled in business development, John is also experienced in the software and IT industry having worked for global corporations including IBM Software Group Asia Pacific, IBM Venture Capital, Microsoft Venture Capital and Serena Software where until 2010 he was the Asia Pacific Managing Director.
He continues to be actively involved in bettering Australia’s technology industry as an advisor to Queensland University of Technology Graduate School of Business.

John has a Masters Degree from the Macquarie University of Graduate Management in Sydney, Australia, a Certificate in Business Strategy from London School of Business, and a Leadership 21 Certificate from Mt Eliza Business School.
Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer
Warwick joined Revelian in 2012 bringing with him over 18 years experience in business strategy, technology and senior management. Warwick currently holds the position of Non Executive Director of Emersion Software Systems and has previously held senior leadership positions with Oracle Corporation, IntraLinks Corporation, Nexus Point Solutions (a Leighton Holdings Company) and CorVu Corporation, a leading business performance management provider.
Warwick is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He possesses a double Masters degree including a Master of Business Administration and Master of Education, and is accredited in both Prince2 and ITIL for Service Management.
Chief Financial Officer
Vass’s career initially involved working in accounting public practice before moving into CFO commercial roles in industries including retail, wholesale and manufacturing. Vass’ successes include the development of Australian companies onto the international stage and leading the way in people and process development change for high growth enterprises. Further experience in areas such as commercial law, quality assurance, taxation and safety gives certainty to clients to the business they are partnered with. Vass has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
Vass leads the Operations team at Revelian and provides internal support to all departments and clients through functions including finance, administration, QA policy development and internal IT maintenance.
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel has extensive experience in leading teams to build and deliver innovative products to the global market. He has had senior technical leadership roles with startups, corporates and government. Daniel is responsible for ensuring that Revelian delivers outstanding products that help clients engage and retain the best people for their business.
He is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia and has undergraduate degrees in Economics from the University of Queensland and Software Development from Australian National University.
Chief Analytics Officer
Peter joined Revelian in 2013 bringing strong analytics expertise, grounded in experience in the design and development of products that manage data to solve business problems. He holds a doctorate in bioinformatics and his career has seen him apply this knowledge to improve information monitoring and sharing in diverse fields including financial fraud detection, national security and credit fraud. A pioneer of business analytics, Peter is a founding director of the Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia.
His addition to Revelian paved the way for company to harness big data to deliver insights into an organisation through the analysis of communications data. By expanding and integrating business analytics with Revelian’s existing product suite Peter helps clients leverage their data assets for dramatic improvements in staff engagement and performance.
Head of Psychology
Cherie has been with Revelian since 2003. She is a qualified, registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in Psychology, a Bachelor of Social Science with Honours and a Masters of Organisational Psychology.
Cherie’s primary responsibilities include psychological test construction, research and development, consulting services, client communication, training and team management. Cherie is passionate about psychology at work, recruitment, exceptional client service and ethical practice.
General Manager, Northern Region (AU)
Rachel joined Revelian in 2001, after spending several years as a technical consultant for a number of large multi-national software vendors in Australia and the UK. Rachel has completed a Bachelor of Informatics and an Honours degree in Commerce majoring in Information Management.
Her expertise is in ERP, HR and best practice software methodologies. Rachel is committed and passionate about ensuring Revelian’s products are powerful, flexible and reliable so they offer the best business proposition for HR professionals.
General Manager, Central Region (AU)
Prior to joiningRevelian in 2012, Daniel spent over 3 years at Fairfax, delivering print and online recruitment advertising solutions to corporate and government clients, and three years working as a recruitment consultant for a global agency.
As General Manager for NSW, Daniel identifies new business opportunities and works with existing clients to ensure they achieve ROI from their investment in Revelian.
General Manager, Southern Region (AU)
Jo joined Revelian in 2012 and possesses 15 years depth of experience within Human Resources including disciplines such as Recruitment, Training and Quality, eLearning, Career Coaching and Psychometrics.
In addition to being a trusted advisor to our Federal Government clients, Jo also leads an experienced team that support our clients across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT.
